Complete process plants from P&ID to commissioning

We turn your process requirements into approved P&IDs, 3D layouts, tanks, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, piping, automation and complete skid units.

Pasteurization and CIP system built by HSV Combi.

In brief – for those making the investment decision

Potential operational effect

Controlled processes and more efficient cleaning.

Basis for calculation

  • Batch time
  • Flow
  • Temperature
  • Cleaning time
  • Water, chemicals and energy
  • Number of production cycles

Risk and other value

Better documentation, food safety and traceability.

The expected effect is calculated from your baseline and depends on product, process, capacity and operation.

Common basis

The P&ID is the shared agreement

The diagram describes the components of the process, product and CIP (cleaning-in-place) routes, measurements and control functions. It is reviewed with you before the solution is turned into 3D and detailed engineering.

This is also where disagreements are cheap to resolve. Once the diagram is approved, process, mechanics and automation all continue from the same basis.

  • Components and process equipment
  • Product and CIP routes
  • Measurements and instrumentation
  • Control functions

Complete skid units

The process plant assembled on one frame

Tanks, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, instrumentation and piping are assembled on a common frame.

The unit can be assembled and function-tested at our facilities and connected to the agreed utilities and process connections on site. That moves a large part of the work away from your plant – and shortens the time production is affected.

Cleaning is designed in from the start

Cleaning is not a system added at the end. It is developed as part of the overall process – together with the product routes.

  • Flow through all product routes
  • Pressure in the circuits
  • Temperature during cleaning
  • Concentration of cleaning agents
  • Draining of pipes and components
  • Return flow and reuse

From diagram to operation

Four steps from process requirements to commissioning

The knowledge put into the diagram carries all the way through to commissioning and documentation.

  1. Process requirements and P&IDComponents, product and CIP routes, measurements and controls are defined and approved.
  2. 3D and detailed engineeringPiping, hygiene, access and placement in the plant are resolved in 3D.
  3. Production and FATThe system is manufactured and function-tested in Sdr. Bjert before delivery.
  4. Installation and commissioningConnection to utilities, SAT and process commissioning at your plant.
