Built and tested at our facility

Complete process modules developed, assembled and tested

Pumps, valves, heat exchangers, filters, instrumentation and piping are assembled around the approved process.

In brief – for those making the investment decision

Potential operational effect

Less installation and testing work at the customer's site.

Basis for calculation

  • Installation time
  • Number of interfaces
  • Scope of testing
  • Planned production downtime

Risk and other value

Complete function test before delivery and fewer unresolved interfaces.

The expected effect is calculated from your baseline and depends on product, process, capacity and operation.

From P&ID to physical unit

The process first – the steel afterward

The process is defined and approved before components, piping, access, connections and skid frame are built up in 3D.

  1. P&IDThe process is drawn and reviewed with you.
  2. ApprovalThe function is approved before anything is built.
  3. 3D build-upComponents, piping, access, connections and skid frame.
  4. Assembly and testingThe module is assembled and tested as one function.

The whole circuit, not loose parts

We size and integrate the whole unit

The P&ID is the common basis for process, mechanics and automation. From there we develop the unit as a function – not as a list of components that someone else has to make work together.

  • Tanks
  • Pumps
  • Valves
  • Heat exchangers
  • Filters
  • Instrumentation
  • Piping
  • Product routes
  • CIP (cleaning-in-place) routes
  • Process automation
  • Complete skid units

Skid units are assembled and function-tested at our facility in Sdr. Bjert. At your site, the unit is connected to the utilities and commissioned – not built to completion.

Types

Eight kinds of modules – the same approach

Whatever the function, the module is built around the approved process and delivered as one complete unit.

01CIP skidsThe cleaning circuit assembled as one unit.
02Pump and valve skidsPumps, valves and piping in one module.
03Dosing unitsControlled dosing into the process.
04Heating and cooling unitsHeat exchangers and temperature control.
05Whey and fines systemsHandling of whey and curd fines from cheese making.
06Process water systemsSupply and handling of process water.
07Filtration and recirculation unitsFiltration and recirculation of liquids in the circuit.
08Customer-specific process modulesModules built for a function that is not available as standard.

Benefits

One complete function instead of loose components

A complete, testable function can reduce interfaces and installation work on site and give better control of quality and documentation.

See how we carry out projects

What is built at our facility does not have to be built at yours

When the function is assembled and tested in the workshop, part of the work is moved away from the production shutdown at the plant. The interfaces become fewer and clearer.

Design parameters

What we adapt – not a standard datasheet

A skid is built around your process and your plant. These are the parameters we size for together with you.

Process and P&ID
The approved process is the starting point for the whole module.
Capacity and flow
Flow, pressure and temperature determine pumps, valves and pipe dimensions.
Components
Pumps, valves, heat exchangers, filters and instrumentation are selected for the function.
Piping and access
Piping, access and connections are drawn in 3D before the skid frame is built.
Hygienic design
Design and cleaning are considered together with the process.
Automation
Instrumentation, controls and data logging according to your needs.
Testing and documentation
The module can be tested as one complete function before it is delivered.
Physical constraints
Space conditions, transport routes and connections at the plant the module is going into.

Send us a P&ID

Do you have a P&ID – or should we draw it?

Send what you have: a sketch, a diagram or just a description of the function. We take it from there.
